I began teaching drums in the mid 90s at Center Stage Music in Renton Washington and ended up at A Sharp Music where I still am.
I eventually expanded to Cedar Heights MS in the Kent School District and taught for 3 years at Lakota MS in Federal Way as well as Eckstein MS and Roosevelt HS in the Seattle School District for many years.
I taught at the Kennelly Keys stores in Seattle and Bellevue for many years as well as the Donn Bennett Drum Shop in Bellevue.

If you or your child are interested in studying drums with me and you live in the greater Seattle area, I am now teaching at the A Sharp Music Company in Renton and at my home in North Seattle.
Emphasis is on rudimental development as applied to snare drum and drum set.  Students can develop a basic understanding of all styles including rock, jazz & bebop, blues, funk, and Latin and learn reading skills, groove lock, and improvisation skills in the process.  Advanced students can learn several approaches to 4-way independent coordination as well as linear coordination techniques.
